Our Story

We were inspired by our own experience from Mabula Safari Plains in South Africa. We wanted to recreate the experience of pure comfort and luxury in beautiful surroundings, and so Mabula Villas was born.

A Perfect Location

Nestled into Bendigo Downs, opposite Scapegrace Distillery, we’re just a 45-minute drive from Queenstown, down the spectacular Kawarau Gorge, through the Gibbston Valley and the vineyards of Bannockburn. When you stay at Mabula Villas, you look out onto Lake Dunstan and the Pisa Mountain Range, and have the wineries of Pinot country at your fingertips.
